Mr.Narayan

Thanks for the Update,
Is it possible to highlight In C and D itself

Means IF B price is Near + or - 20 % of C ,The C gets High lighted and

if B price is + or - 20 % near D ,the D gets Highlighted

Need conditional formatting In C and D COl.

Hi ,

I asked a question ; can you please answer it ?
Can cells in both columns be highlighted at the same time ?

I have put the formulae outside the cells in columns C and D , so that you can look at the logic and confirm that it is acceptable. I do not want revisions later on.

Hi Narendra ,

The question is still unanswered. Anyway , see the file.

NO its not correct

Q) Can cells in both columns be highlighted at the same time ?
Only one cell has to be highlighted

Based on B values,
The nearest value of C OR D has to be highlighted.

I'm not so sure what you're asking for is really what you want; all the rows in your sample data are within +/-20% of both support and resistance. In fact the difference between support and resistance in all cases is of the order of 5% or 6% and the FUTURE value is always between them.

I'm just wondering if you want the price to be within 20% of the difference between support and resistance, rather than just be within 20% of the support or resistance levels? (I'm just guessing that you want to trade when the price gets close to support or resistance… perhaps you want to try and trade oscillating instruments?)

Hi

Point Noted,

Q) (I'm just guessing that you want to trade when the price gets close to support or resistance…

Yes thats the idea,just wanted to know when the price gets close to support or resistance by 5-10 Points,or can we do it by 2 %.

Narendra

see attached, explanations within.
Conditional format for column C:
=ABS((B2-C2)/(D2-C2))<=0.2

where 0.2 = 20%

and column D:
=ABS((D2-B2)/(D2-C2))<=0.2
