Posting here because it's more Excel related in relation to VBA (Macros)

Question is as follows:

When a reference cannot be provided, is it possible for a user to click "reference" and then it deletes that row?

Your link takes members to the site but there are advertisement popups, Chandoo has a file upload facility why do you not use this.

You will need VBA to achieve this, And VBA is part of Excel

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I can't upload the file as it's a Word document. Chandoo doesn't support Word document extensions.

Am I allowed to upload the file elsewhere?

Also are you saying what I requested is not possible on Word 2013?

Change the file extension to *.txt then upload it
But make sure you tell us what it used to be

Great idea!

Edit: .txt failed when trying to change it back to a .docx

Can we use dropbox?

I have changed the upload policy and you can now upload *.doc & *.docx file types

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, only just remembered about this!

P.S. Thanks for the change to the upload policy! I've now uploaded a .docx file

In Excel why not simply use formula to blank out the entry with a space or something that doesn't show up in word

Thanks for the quick response.

I'm a bit confused, have you got a sample file of a Word document that does this?
