How to highlight entire subtotal row

Hi Experts

I am stuck with the query where I have to highlight/change the color of the row where the subtotal is applied. I am using CF =isnumber(find("Total",$C5)) but it is highlighting the cell only. I want to highlight the entire row. Is there any way to do it in excel or VBA.

I have to apply the same on 5 specific sheets from the total sheets of 20.

JD

When you open your Conditional Formatting->Manage Rules dialogue box, what is the range listed in the "Applies To" column?

What happens if you change this range to

=$1:$5

Does it apply the CF to the entire row, columns 1 through 5?

I think you've got the right CF formula, you just need to apply it to all the applicable columns.

Hi Eibi

The above code "=$1:$5" when added in the Applied section of the CF highlighed only one row. I need to highlight more than one subtotal in the sheet. I select the column range in the applied section and it worked. Thanks for looking into it.

JD
