Replace ( Ctrl + H ) without changing font color

Hi all,

I have a large bunch of cells ( 1,000+ ), each containing text symbol "." and other colored texts.
I would like to remove all the "." while remaining the texts colored. By using "Replace All ( Ctrl + H )", the "." are removed. However, colored texts are also discolored.

Is there any way to handle this situation?

Thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome to the forum :awesome:
Can you post your sample file here?
Meanwhile check if there is any CF applied for above mentioned symbol.

Symbols and texts are mixed or entered separately?

Hi. Thanks for the welcoming
Attached the sample file. No CF. The symbols and texts are mixed.
Thank you, Khalid.

I have you find and replace to remove the following three characters . [] and 【】,and the text colour remains the same.

.

A screen-print of my sample file.
Wanna delete only the "." text symbol while retaining the font color.

Thanks for the reply, bobhc.
What if I would like to reserve both [] 【】 and their corresponding font colors?

Hi,

I didn't found the way you required in excel, except the following way:
1) Copy/Paste your range to MS. Word
2) Use Find & Replace
3) Find what : .
4) Replace with : (leave blank)
5) Replace all
6) copy/paste to excel.

Hi:
