Can anybody help me with a way to append two or more different .txt or .xls or .csv files with same format or fields in excel with file name of each file in a new column to identify data in each file.
Currently I am using .bat file for this, but it only can append data one below the other and I am finding difficulty in differentiation data’s in each file.
sample .bat file coding is as below
cd c:\TTfiles\oct-14
copy kern*.summary kernsumm.txt
one sample file attached , please create another file with file name as "MSCGSK02C2014101209464299b.txt " you may use the same data in uploaded file ,since the second file is not getting uploaded here.
