Convert PDF into Excel

  1. How to convert a PDF file to Excel:

    5. Name the Excel file and save it in a desired location.
 
Well, Thank you so much Jayalaxmi for the help, however,
I need to extract SOME part of PDF file.
I want to extract just 6 fields from the attached PDF.
The field to be extracted are
2. Carrier Case Number
10. Injured Person's Doctor
13. Treatment Date(s)
14. Amount of Medical Bill
15. Amount Paid
16. Amount in Dispute

Hi,

As far as why doesn't jayalaxmi approached worked is that uploaded pdf maiden with scanned docs which doesn't get converted in tabular/searchable format simply.
 
Hi All,

I found an even simpler solution for the issue. What you need to do is:

1. Take a screen shot of the page you want to extract data from. (page 01 here).
2. Open OneNote and Paste it there.
3. Right click select "copy text from picture".
4. Paste it on word and it is there as text.
I am attaching word file.

For Able2Extract

you can not extract text from images or scanned docs. That is a limitation.

OneNote is a note taking application that comes with MS Office. It looks like this: untitled.gif
