This one has been driving me crazy for a while. In the attached file, I have some sample data on the first tab. The second tab shows what the results should look like (I listed the first few dates, not every single one).
On the first tab, I have unique occurrences of Name + Task in columns B and C.
I would like to assign a date to each unique occurrence. There are 10 dates, therefore each Name + Task would appear 10 times (each occurrence would have a different date next to it).
In short, I would like to transpose the dates so that they are listed vertically along with the Name + Tasks, but each Name + Task would appear more than once.
I believe the final result would contain 80 rows (8 Name + Task combinations x 10 dates).
I tried this with a Pivot Table but each date is listed as an individual field so this won't work because as time goes on, I will have more and more dates.
