Data Disappears - Drop Down List

In C3 I created a drop down list. Data for the list is from L3:L200.

On the 21 tabs in the October 2015 with IF's workbook, I reviewed the drop down function. It was working perfectly.

When I reopened the file, the list was gone. I have researched a lot of sites, but to no avail.

Your named range is mapped to another file. Looks like it's located in either local computer or on a network drive.

If you open the file outside your network and/or on different computer. It will likely lose connection to your data and will not populate the list.

Instead, copy unique list from the source and have hidden sheet in your file to create data validation list.
