I was using an excel workboook that I have used a lot & all of sudden the fill handle has disappeared in some random cells in one worksheet, I am not sure about other worksheets in this workbook. It was there before, I have used it many, many times. I had just "Saved As" & on the original document the fill handle appears to be there. The fill handle & drag & drop are enabled in Excel Options/Advanced. I am not the only person who uses this workbook & we are all pretty basic users of excel. How can I get the fill handle back? The only way I can use the auto fill by dragging is to hold the ctrl key down. In this workbook i usually use this option to fill in text that has been entered in another worksheet in this workbook for continuity of data entry & to save retyping duplicate info.
