Formula Question

I have a quick question. Is it possible to combine/add two columns of data into a seperate column but show the numeric values being added rather than the formula?

For example, see the attached image:
How can I get Column C to show the Sum of Column A and B with the formulas in column C reading =3+2 rather than =A7+B7?

Is this possible?
Could save me a lot of manual labor!! :D

Oh, and columns A and B would both be coming from seperate workbooks... if that matters!?
