Getting data from web with Power Query

Anar

Hello,

I need to get data from web (Crude Oil Historical Prices - Investing.com). But I want to get data not for the last month as seen over the web-page, but for the greater date range. There is option to select start and end date on web-site. However, when I select the range and run, I cannot get the selected range via Power Query (only last month is seen on Power Query window in Excel).
Could anybody help on this?

Many thanks
Anar

I am able to get the report when i selected date rage from Jan 2015 to Jan 2016. See attached.

I am Sorry if you are not looking for this.

Thank you. I actually want to import over Power Query so that I can update and modify data easily.

Hi !

Wait if some Excel 2013 version owners test if it's doable with Power Query.

There are other ways to get data from web : Web Scraping archives …
Also via PowerShell, AutoIt, …

You can see some samples using IE or by request (better)
in the VBA Macros appropriate forum …
