How can I paste this so it's exactly the same

I am trying to paste some formulas and when I go paste it says the following:

The range you are pasting contains formulas that can not be pasted into this instance of excel; however, the formulas will be pasted as values. This may result from pasting formulas from protected view, another instance of excel or from another application

How can I paste what I copy so it's exactly the same as what I'm copying? I am copying from a protected book that I have unprotected in the VBA I can Unprotect 1 at a time but get this message and when I paste them like it says it's as values and not my code

Thanks guru's

Hi Jack

From the message it looks like you opened Excel more than once, this happens when you open a file by clicking on a file in the Folder.

I suggest that you close all the files open Excel and then open each of the other files by using the Excel Open from the menu.

Let me know if this works
