How To add Functions in Drop down menu without macro

HI...

I had downloaded Employee absence schedule tracker from google bit i am unable to get understand how they added drop down without data validation and also formulas in dropdown menu.

Any one helpout about this to understand how to add function in dropdown menu or how to add dropdown menu if data validation option is disabled.....

Hi Nitesh,

The calendar is actually housed within a Table. Here's the file, with Table formatting set to default:

The last row is the Total row of the Table. All Total rows have capability of choosing how you would like to total (e.g., get an average, sum, count).

Thanks for valuable reply....But i can't understand how to do this with another file if I have same data.

I have formatted data with table but can't add dropdown list with functions.

Can you pls explain in brief...this is helpfull for me...

After, you create the Table, check the Total Row option on Ribbon.


Then in the row that appears, you can select from a dropdown how you want to Total the data.
