How to show percentage and count in bar chart?

Hi All,

In the attached workbook, I have created a chart which shows the Class wise Pass and Fail count. Now what I want is to show the pass and fail percentage as well in the respective bars for all the classes. I am not sure how to do this. Please help me here. Please note that both the count as well as the percentage data should be shown in the respective bars for each class. The count data label should be shown above the bar and the percentage data label should be shown in side the bar.

Hi,

Add the other two series and set them in the Secondary axis (to the right)... then, overlap both sets of columns (basically use the same settings as you have for the first 2.

Now, simply make the last two series (%) transparent and adjust the position of the labels. Unfortunately, I think you will have to manually adjust some of the labels as they will overlap in some cases.

If you are using Excel 2013 , you can make use of its in-built feature of labelling using a custom data range.
