Protected worksheet

I have a worksheet, when I enter an excel function and hit enter, the formula doesn't bring back a result, the formula stays in the cell and I assume the worksheet is protected. How can I make sure it is protected? Is there any way to remove protection without knowing the password?

You can try the Password.xla addin to remove the protection without knowing the password.

Maybe you can try to unprotect Excel directly by searching the tips on the Internet.If you are going to use the tools like Workbook unprotect Genius, the general steps are below and you can have a refer. For more information here: http://www.passwordmanagers.net/how-to-unprotect-excel.html
You need to use Workbook Unprotect Genius to install and run on your PC. Then navigate the excel file that includes the worksheet you need to unprotect. Next it can remove sheet password to unprotect Excel worksheet. Final you just need to click OK.
For you own excel files, if it is necessary and important, you need to know how to password protect excel 2010 for example.
