Quick Pivot question

Hi all!

Been wondering something:

If I'm using a Pivot Table where one field of my data is a date field. I group that field to split it into Years - Months - Date.

Now how would I go about displaying data for, for example, April 2014 until January 2015, without having to manually select/unselect all the corresponding dates in the "Date" field? Is there a way to do that using Years and Month slicers?

Thanks !

sure you can do it with slicers, also you can use filter and display only data between two dates and also custom group is an option

Upping this because I still haven't found a way.

I saw that Excel 2013 introduced the "Timeline" which seems to do exactly what I need, but I'm using Excel 2010.
