Remove ~ from entire sheet

Dear Sir,

Greetings!!

I have an excel file in which ~ occurs lot of times in a cell. And the same is applicable to entire sheet. Ctrl+F is not working. I tried Text to Column but it affects the formatting which I don't want. I have also copied the format and pasted the into destination columns but still formatting gets affected.

May I get any solution to get rid of this. I shall appreciate to get Non VBA Solution.

Hi Neeraj ,

Find and Replace ( CTRL H ) will work ; you need to Find ~~ ( two tildes ) instead of the normal single tilde. This is because the ~ , by itself , has its own special significance.
