Reusing deleted names in Name Manager

I had a named range called "Status" which I deleted. I then took that range and did Ctrl + T and tried to name the table to "Status" an Excel says that that name is already in use.

But in Name Manager I deleted the original named range called "Status" so I don't know why I'm getting this.

1. So now can I reuse the name called "Status?"

2. Secondly, in name manager, I see some named ranges called "Print_Area." I never named these. How did these get in here and what do they mean?

If you close and reopen excel you should be able to reuse The old name of Status

Print_area is a built in Name used to define the current Print Area
There are a few other predefined or system names
Like Extracted_Data and Criteria

I should have thought about closing and reopening. I never realized this thing about Print area before, at least I don't remember seeing it before anytime I have used named ranges.

Thank you for your reply.
