I have a question about linked table.
I have a list of components. For each new project started in my company, some people will have to give them a rate, going from 1 to 5.
The components list will be modified in the future: some will be deleted, some added etc.
I would like to have a master workbook with my list of components. And child workbooks witch will contain the ratings (one file / project).
I have created my master file. I have created a child file with connection. My two component lists are synchronized (tables).
To give a rate in my child workbook, I have added a column (so it's specific to each file).
But if I delete a row in my master workbook, it will not delete the entire row in my child workbook, only the component row.
Is it possible to combine linked column & specific one in a table? Do you have other ideas to meet my needs?
