Need help on why all data for Manager A is not being aggregated with Managers B and C. See file (tab 1 has data and tab 2 shows pivot table with Manager A is identified separately from Managers B and C).

Thank you.

Hi ,

What is the problem exactly ?

The pivot table aggregates the shares manager-wise , with one column allotted to each manager ; why do you say that Manager A is identified separately from managers B and C ? Manager A has a total of 35 in column B , manager B has a total of 65 in column C , and manager C has a total of 102 in column D.

Hi ,

Because the value 2190385 is not the same in all 3 instances ; in two cases , it is text , while in the case of A it is numeric.

Press F2 in the two cases , and then press ENTER , so that the text values are converted to numeric values , and you will see all 3 values in the same row in the pivot table.
