Use tableau as database in excel

Hi,

I have a query.

I want to use tableau as database in excel means my report is in tableau and formulas are in excel. I want to connect tableau as database and use formula in excel.

According to the above link, Excel sheet will work as a database but I want opposite. Means tableau as database.

You should actually be able to do all the calculations, create all the formulae you currently do in Excel, in Tableau. Tableau is actually designed to let you do the calculations as well as the visualizations there. They have a very active and responsive userbase in their forums, a lot of tutorials and official material on their site as well as a lot of additional user created tutorials in youtube and elsewhere. I think you'll find your solutions are in learning more about using Tableau to do the calculations you are currently looking for Excel to do than in resolving this in Excel.
