I am using the SUMIFS function and I am not getting the results I should. The values that are not being included appear to have one thing in common: a blank cell in the criteria column.
In my criteria, I am referring to the cells in column C on one tab. Cell C100 has a blank.
The criteria range is column N on another tab. On that other tab in column N, the row with the hours that is not being picked up also has a blank in column N, i.e. cell N150.
From what I can tell, it seems that when the SUMIFS function encounters a criteria which is equal to a blank cell, it will not "blank" and a legitimate criteria, in the criteria range.
Is this true? Is this a limitation of the SUMIFS function?
