Hi !

You can't use VLOOKUP if searched column is not the first !

At beginner level using MATCH to find out value and OFFSET to reach data …

Use index, match instead.
=INDEX($A$2:$A$14,MATCH(H2,$E$2:$E$14,0))

But since your data is sorted... you can simply use
=A2
and copy down...

Hi Narendra,

You have the solution, adding this just for info.

You can also use VLOOKUP with help of CHOOSE to lookup left, like this:
=VLOOKUP(H2,CHOOSE({2,1},$A$2:$A$14,$E$2:$E$14),2,0)
