Which Formula Trim, Replace or Both

I'm trying to figure out how to trim off text or symbols. Example "Jessica Holt *Ready for Charge-CT" or "Chauncy Ortiz (Holt/Ortiz)" I want to trim everything but the first and last name on left, example remaining would be "Jessica Holt" and "Chauncy Ortiz."

Can you help? Thank you

Ok. I'm super confused. I tried both responses above and can't seem to figure out to make it work. I attached my file. Reminder, my goal is to first eliminate any special characters (i.e, * or () then separate the Full Name into first name and last name on separate rows. I would be grateful if you could explain how you the formula works so I can learn for you smart folks.

Kind Regards,
Casey
